I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer (and it scares me half to death but reading your comic makes me laugh and suddenly I feel better again!) so if nothing else, thank you for making me laugh out loud!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s a bittersweet love, but I do love seeing your journal. I have lost some friends and family members to various cancers. When I read these pages, I almost feel like I can talk with them again and share some of their experience. It\u2019s really touching and valuable to me. I just wanted to let you know that your writing and drawings are doing good things for maybe more people than you realize.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cMy mom had been diagnosed recently. Ever since, before her surgery and then chemo (still ongoing) I&#8217;d share your comics with her &#8211; we laughed and cried and got scared and comforted reading them together\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis brings back a lot of memories, and I have to admit I cried. I\u2019ve never met someone who\u2019s gone through it before that really wanted to talk about it like this, and I want to truly thank you for that. keep the funny, I think it saved me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI&#8217;ve been going through the process of possibly being diagnosed with lymphoma (I have a biopsy on Friday) and I cannot express how much your journal has put my mind to rest on how it actually feels to go through something like that. I just wanted to let you know that this has really helped me, so thank you :)\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYour journal has been a huge help and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It&#8217;s helped me heal emotionally as I&#8217;ve confronted and talked openly about the things that happened.
