\u201cBlue Flower\u201d HD video series is an special edition of ten different videos, created on the occasion of the inauguration on 2012 of \u201cBlue Flower\u201d permanent public art piece, installed in the George Pearl Hall building, new School of Architecture and Planning at the University of New Mexico, in Albuquerque. The building was designed by nationally acclaimed architect Antoine Predock, recipient of the 2006 AIA (The American Institute of Architects) Gold Medal. The building is considered a landmark of contemporary national architecture and a paradigm of sustainable design.<\/p>\n

On this video series drops of blue fountain ink expanding into clear water are translated into sound in real time. The video was shot using the most advance High Definition video technology at + millions of colors and 1920 x 1080 pixels size. The duration of each one of the ten videos in the series is different but all of them are approximately 30 minutes long. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>

\u201cBlue Flower\u201d HD video series uses analogue imagery and the same sound translation method used in \u201cBlue Flower\u201d public art installation. For the sound translation a special algorithm based in MatLab matrix programming language was specifically implemented.<\/p>\n

Each one of the ten videos comprised in the series is unique and this edition will be the only reproduction of this series, not even the raw high definition footage, shoot specifically for this videos, will be used again. Each HD Video comes with a certificate of authenticity and carries a lifetime warrantee on any and all the copies provided to the owner by Blue Flower Studio.<\/p>\n

In that sense each video of the series is as unique as a Pollock painting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div>
