Following the line of research of “Blue Flower” and “Dripping Sounds” this project explore Natural Complex Systems behavior. In “Water traces” the enlarged image of a drop of ink projected against the ceiling of the space generates in real time, via electronic sensors and actuators, lineal drawings on a thin layer of sand. The sand is spread in a 50 inches diameter slab of Walnut wood that constantly rotates at a speed of one revolution per minute.
